Who is this workshop for?
Curious minded creative adults who love to doodle, colour and be creative of course! Join me online for a relaxed Sunday artistic studio session. My goal is to connect as many creatively minded adult as possible so we can fire up our creative brain, chat and feel artistically inspired by each other.
What do we do?
Our Sunday night studio time is a combination, part class + part free time and idea share. Here’s how it works:
7:30 – 8pm Creative Challenge:
For the first 30 minutes at the start of our club I lead us through a colouring challenge to get the juices flowing. It’s a little exercise to fire up your creative right brain and give you a fresh perspective. You’ll need pencil crayons (markers if you prefer) and a page from my colouring book Veronica’s Garden so do grab the FREE PDFs beforehand. You will receive the link to a Dropbox folder with the PDFs: we re-use these images using different techniques and I add new freebies all the time.
8 – 9pm Studio Time:
It’s studio time and idea share! Grab your own colouring book, sketchbook or that creative project you’ve been neglecting and join in. Ask questions, share ideas, get inspiration and a new perspective. It’s a fabulous excuse to work on your artwork and connect with curious minded creative folk. I always come away with a new perspective on my work and solutions to parts I’ve been struggling with.
There is no need to be an artist! My goal is to build a great group of creative folk, working together, sharing ideas, feeling inspired and having fun! I hope you’ll make some new friends too!
What does the online art club work?
The online club is very similar to my live club – except it’s virtual. You will login to Zoom Meeting with your computer, tablet or phone. You will see both me and my desktop so you can see me colour. Zoom allows you to choose to turn your camera on or off so that we can see you and you can show your work. You can mute your sounds if you just want to listen, or chat along with us. You can also type into the “Chat” window or show us your colouring on the video.
