Tim Ferriss says he asks himself on a regular basis, “which of these (to-do’s) if done, make the rest easier or irrelevant?”. In other words what has a disproportionate ROI for the time I need to invest? I think I should sometimes stop myself before I get off on a tangent which I am certainly guilty of doing. I just need to pick my lead domino.
Tim says this is often times the item that is the most uncomfortable to do. For me it is certainly that as well as the thing that takes the most brain-work or creative-thought. He talks about this in his podcast on “How to Build a Large Audience from Scratch”.
